Join Us for Prints & Proofs
Are you a photographer? Create and show work that resonates with our theme "Movement"
Attention Louisville Photographers!
Join us for the third installment of Prints & Proofs — a unique event series where we leave the digital world behind and gather to showcase our work in person.
Ben and I are excited to host another prints and proofs event with our local community. It's an opportunity to step away from the likes and shares of social platforms and dive deep into in-person conversations about our work for meaningful conversations, discovery, and feedback.
Event Details
Date – Thursday, October 5
Time – 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Location – Sunergos Coffee (3922 Willis Ave)
Theme – Movement
We encourage you to create and bring photographs that resonate with the theme of "movement." Whether they are freshly clicked or older gems from your portfolio, we're eager to see your interpretation of the theme!
If you register as a photographer, please plan on bringing at least 3 prints (no larger than 17x22) of your work that you'd like to show and chat about with other photographers/observers.
Not showing work? Register as a spectator and come hang out and meet other creatives. It's a great opportunity to connect with other creatives and patrons of the art. This is a casual, fun hang with other creatives in town.
For the first 10 photographers that register, State Film Labs will print your three images (up to 8x10) for free. We will send you the details after you register for the event.
In case you missed it, Joshua and I held our second IRL event for designers in July. We had a wonderful turnout and it was inspiring to see some artists experimenting with using AI in their creative workflow.
Special thanks to Tyler Deeb and the crew at Misc. Goods Co. for hosting us in their beautiful new space, and Tim Robertson for walking us through the ins and outs of riso printing. Here are some images that Joshua took at the event.
